The American College of Radiation Oncology, with support from the Dr. Luther Brady Foundation, is proud to provide financial support for medical students, residents/fellows, and ACRO SEALs (radiation oncology leaders) to attend The Radiation Oncology Summit: ACRO 2026 taking place February 4-7 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
TRAVEL GRANT DETAILS
- ACRO will provide up to fifteen $500 grants for radiation oncology residents, medical students, and ACRO SEALs (radiation oncology leaders) to attend The Radiation Oncology Summit: ACRO 2026. Please note: undergraduates are not eligible for this grant.
- Expenses exceeding the grant funds will be the responsibility of the recipient.
- Recipients must make all arrangements to attend the meeting.
- Final acceptance and disbursement of funds is subject to review and final approval by the ACRO Scholarship Committee and Finance & Operations Committee.
- Failure to comply with program requirements may be subject to grant revocation.
ELIGIBILITY
- ACRO membership: Applicants must be members of ACRO and in good standing at a medical school, radiation oncology residency or fellowship program, or be a radiation oncology leader with ACRO SEAL membership. The application for ACRO membership can be found at acro.org/membership. Undergraduates are not eligible for this grant.
- Submission requirements: All submissions must include the following:

- Applicant’s curriculum vitae
- Personal statement
- Letter of support from radiation oncology chairman or program director
- Submission deadline: All submissions must be received via the ACRO website no later than December 10, 2025 at 11:59 PM PT.
- Submissions will be assessed and travel grants will be awarded by members of the ACRO Scholarship Committee.
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
- Letter of support: The program chairman or program director should indicate if the trainee has any level of departmental financial support for travel to the annual meeting, and if an abstract submission warrants the applicant department funding. Specifically, this letter must also indicate that the department supports and approves time away to attend the 2026 ACRO Annual Meeting.
- Personal statement: Applicants should describe his/ her interest and/or experience in leadership in radiation oncology, specifically how you foresee your involvement with research, advocacy, or education. Additionally or alternatively, applicants may describe his or her personal goals for the Annual Meeting, and how this experience may impact the applicants’ future career in radiation oncology.
- Curriculum vitae: Upload your updated CV.
- Travel confirmation: Confirmation of travel reservations must be provided to ACRO at least two weeks prior to the Annual Meeting.
