ACRO Mock Oral Boards

On behalf of Drs. Sean Mahase, Yulia Romalis, Shefali Gajjar, and Simon Brown, we would like to announce the creation of the American College of Radiation Oncology Mock Oral Boards (ACRO MOB). A more formal public announcement will be forthcoming in the very near future. As we start to put plans in place, we are accepting applications for leadership positions, as well as resident-level trainees.

We would like to emphasize that ACRO MOB aligns with the American Board of Radiology (ABR) policies concerning current ABR volunteers. Per recent ABR recommendations, current volunteers for ABR exam committees—whether for written or oral exams—are not permitted to participate in board preparation activities for any group, including professional societies, irrespective of compensation or level of involvement. This measure safeguards the integrity and security of exam content.

Call for Leadership:

As we start to establish the program, we are seeking applications for Disease Site Lead positions. We are looking for diverse candidates across the radiation oncology career spectrum. We encourage applications from academic and community radiation oncology physicians. Click here to apply.

Call for Resident Interns:

Residents will rotate through various disease sites to aid attending-level disease site leads in creating examination slide decks and associated materials. This is an excellent opportunity to prepare for oral boards and learn from experts in our field. Click here to apply.
