Thank you for your interest in joining the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO)!

Please review our member types and make your selection at the bottom of the page to begin the application for membership. Active members will select their subtype on a subsequent page during this registration process.

ACRO Member Types:

Active - Regular: $535 - Those physicians or physicists engaged in the full time practice or administration of radiation oncology.

Active - International: $235 - Active Members who are practicing Radiation Oncology outside of the United States are eligible for reduced annual dues.

Active - Military/Federal Services: $295 - Active Members who are serving in the military and Federal Service Employees are eligible for reduced annual dues.

Active - Retired: $150 - Physicians who have been Active or Associate Members of ACRO for more than five years but who are not currently employed more than 10% of the time in fields related to radiation oncology are eligible to be Retired Members. Retired Members can be appointed to the commissions and committees of ACRO but do not have the right to vote or hold office.

Active - Corresponding: $165 - Non-physicians who have a major interest in ACRO activities and have proved evidence of involvement in the practice of radiation oncology or have worked for the betterment of the practice are eligible to be Corresponding Members. Corresponding Members can be appointed to the commissions and committees of ACRO but do not have the right to vote or hold office.

Early Career: $110 in Year 1, $375 in Year 2 - Those physicians that have recently completed training and are in the first two years of practice post-residency. Early Career Physicians are considered Active Members of the organization.

New Practitioner: $535 - Those physicians that are new to the practice of Radiation Oncology and are in their 3rd, 4th, and 5th years post-residency. New Practitioners are considered Active Members of the organization.

Associate: $100 - Associate Members are administrators, radiology technologists, radiation therapists, and nurse practitioners who are engaged in radiation-oncology practice. Associate Members can be appointed to the commissions and committees of ACRO but do not have the right to vote or hold elective office. 

SEALs - Associate: $100 - SEALs Associate Members are professionals of various backgrounds and training that play a leadership role within a radiation oncology practice or program. SEALs (Sharing Excellence Among Leaders) are responsible for developing education and resources specific to leaders of radiation oncology programs. SEALs Associate Members can be appointed to the commissions and committees of ACRO but do not have the right to vote or hold elective office.

Resident: Free - Physicians enrolled in an ACGME recognized radiation oncology residency programs are eligible for Resident Membership in the College. A Resident Member may be appointed to commissions and committees, but shall not have the right to vote or hold elective office. Interns and fellows are also eligible for a Resident Membership. 

Medical Students: Free - Medical Students interested in radiation oncology are eligible for a complimentary membership. A Medical Student Member may be appointed to commissions and committees, but shall not have the right to vote or hold elective office.
