The ACRO Accreditation Program, under the leadership of Jaroslaw Hepel, MD, FACRO, is pleased to announce an update of the ACRO Accreditation Manual. ACRO's mission is to partner with Radiation Oncology practices to achieve exceptional quality and excellence in cancer care for their patients. Our thorough annual review of standards and evaluation guidelines is instrumental in achieving this goal. Changes for 2023 include minor updates to Head and Neck, Breast, and Lung grading criteria and updated guidelines for the accreditation process. The manual also includes current pricing. Please see the change log for a complete list of updates.
We are proud to continue to offer a 100% radiation oncology focused accreditation program, featuring online chart reviews by disease-site experts, a comprehensive physics review and a dedicated administrative survey.
We would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Hepel, Administrative Director Audrey Hyde, Physics Director Claudio Sibata, PhD, and the ACRO Accreditation Disease Site Team Leaders for their hard work on this update.
