Over the past year, our advocacy efforts have focused on the issues that matter most to your practice and your patients, including physician payment, reimbursement policy, payer oversight, and workforce sustainability.
Our 2025-26 ACRO Advocacy Report details the efforts of your ACRO Government Relations & Economics Committee, but we wanted to share a few of the highlights:
Pushed back against physician payment cutsand supported a 2.5% increase for 2026
Engaged CMS and Congress on sustainable reimbursement methodology
Advocated for policies that support workforce stability and long-term access to care
Worked to protect independent, freestanding, and rural practices from harmful reimbursement changes
