Resident Committee

 

Are you interested in getting involved in the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO)?

The ACRO Resident Committee is now accepting applications! We are looking for residents and medical students interested in furthering the committee's commitment to enhancing education, scholarship, and mentorship among radiation oncology trainees. Multiple executive board and subcommittee positions are available.

Executive board members will serve for two years and cannot serve on the executive committee of other radiation oncology resident organizations. Subcommittee members will serve for one year. On the application below, you'll be able to rank your subcommittees of interest: Scientific Program, Education/Wellness, Scholarship, Communications, and Mentorship/Membership/DEI.

→  Apply using the form at the bottom of this page  (Deadline to apply is May 21, 2025 - After the deadline, applications will be reviewed by the Committee and select residents will be invited for a brief interview.)


Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be current PGY-2 or PGY-3 residents in an accredited radiation oncology training program within the United States or Canada. Applicants must be willing to participate for a 2-year commitment. They must not already serve on the executive committee of other radiation oncology resident organizations. 


Application requirements:

  • Please submit a CV and a person statement describing what you plan to accomplish during your time on the ACRO Resident Committee (limit 1 page).
  • Additionally, please attach a letter of support from your program leadership that verifies you will be able to attend the 2026 ACRO Annual Meeting.
